Nancy Applegarth

Nancy Applegarth brings more than 18 years of experience in sales, management, public speaking and training to Power Presentations programs. She has proven her ability to manage, lead and motivate others to exceed sales quotas and expectations at several well-respected companies, including Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson and leading international medical device company, Synthes.
While working in the medical field, Nancy honed her ability to think on her feet and communicate effectively in a stressful environment. During this time, she managed a large team of surgical consultants and led training courses for surgeons and staff on surgical technique and advancements, often consulting in the operating room during surgery. She has conducted orthopedic trauma sales and technical training courses in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Nancy has also conducted student outreach, lectures, recruitment and professional presence training for the Institute of Fashion and Merchandising.
Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communication, specializing in sales and marketing from Bowling Green State University. She has also completed courses in sales, management, negotiating, presentation skills and personality profiling. She has studied in France and Japan.
Nancy currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and three children. She enjoys an active lifestyle, including skiing and sailing with her family.
